Can’t get Windows 7 to recognize my Linksys Wireless-G PCI Adapter WMP54G ver 4?

I just installed Windows 7 32bit. Downloaded the drivers for my adapter from Linksys. But 7 just tells me that my adapter isn’t connected. I have opened up my computer and unplugged and plugged it back in.

What kind of driver did you download?, for XP? XP SP2? Vista?
Right click on your EXE file downloaded from internet-> properties ->compatibility->run in compatibility mode, choose the proper mode for your driver setup file, check “run it as Administrator” . most of the drivers can run in Windows 7, it’s much better than Vista.

cause i am not using English version Windows 7, so maybe the words i used are not as same as your OS.
