USBports in my computer dont recognize the phone base divice Linksys Cordless Telephone Kit(CIT 200) for Skype
When I plug the phone base usb to (any of)the usb ports in my computer a globe tells me that the divice is not recognized by windows.I have done the simple setup procedures as Linksys support instructed but the usb is not recognized and the phone’s screen says it is disconected, and contacts unavailable.Linksys support team by phone has not been helpful. Need help from someone that has had the same problem.
One thing you can try is to plug the Linksys Cordless Telephone Kit into a powered USB port. For example, plug the kit into the USB port at the back of the desktop PC, not the aux port at the front, nor the unpowered hub. It is a proven solution for many issues in CIT 200.
