does anyone know any good cordless home phones?

My parents live on a large property and walk around alot, the cordless panasonic phone they use right now only works a few hundred feet away, seems like the older phones worked better.

Is it a DECT phone? I get good results with my Panasonic DECT 6.0 phone. Most cordless phones now days don’t give you anything over a few hunded feet.
