I personally already have that 5.8 ghz phone….. which is off…..no home phone only use cell…….soooooo?
UPDATE! In talking with the router MFG. there was a problem with the router…. BELKIN….they are wanting to replace it for free according to their lifetime free policy however…….they want the CC # on my bank account….if it’s for free why they need the number?

Nah, your phone has absolutely NOTHING to do with it.

I previously answered this in a past post, so here it is again, as it applies to you.

Could be a few different things. In order of probability:

1. You are connecting to a wireless router setup with default settings. Typically ‘linksys’, ‘dlink’ or ‘default’. Other wireless routers in your area may also be using the same default SSID names, causing you to get kicked frequently. Give your wireless router a unique SSID.

2. You are just too far away from the router, or too many walls in between and you are being dropped. Get closer or put a wireless range extender between you and the router.

3. You have some malware on your computer that is attempting to manipulate your IP stack. Get it scanned and/or download a program called winsockfix to fix your stack and put your registry back in order in case it was compromized.

4. Your net card has a problem. Most likely NOT the problem, since you are connecting. But it can happen

Hope this helps.
